About Tom Klein

Tom Klein | Führungskräftecoach und Organisationsentwickler | Transformationsprozesse

Thinking in German and speaking English comes naturally to Tom.  While born in Toronto he feels at home in Germany and Europe – the native country of his parents.

Tom has been an entrepreneur in the organizational development, coaching and training space for 30 years, always focused on transformational work with people and organizations. He lives as someone who believes that life is about realizing one’s potential—whether personally, in a team or in a company.

In his work as a management coach and organizational developer, Tom applies the interdisciplinary approaches in psychology, politics and philosophy that he learned and taught at university in Canada to enable successful transformation processes.

Success for Tom lies in moving away from restrictive frameworks and strategies and towards freedom and responsibility for oneself. Because only when we are aware of who we are and what is important to us, can we be available to others and so develop great products and experiences for customers. That is why transformational coaching and mentoring are often the starting point for many of his clients to transformation of the their own personal and work spaces.

Learning how to create great outcomes is Tom’s purpose and helping people and organizations to transform in an agile way is how he achieves better outcomes.

Through his many projects, Tom has had the opportunity work in 40 countries, but he feels at home in the Rhinegau, one of Germany’s great Riesling regions and one of the genuinely beautiful places in the world. Here he can indulge in his hobby of mountain biking, but also ground himself in the midst of hills and vineyards at the center of one of the German hubs for global industry and finance when he returns from his travels.

While enjoying a glass of white wine in one of the many good restaurants on the Rhine, Tom looks with calm confidence at the challenges of today’s world: Here, too, there are many things to learn, which in one way or another we will of course learn to master. As a wise colleague recently said, the future is determined by how we respond to a crisis with personal change.

We need only start to explore what to do and how do it with an open mind and the courage to risk trying out our ideas to create our own path. Transformation is usually its own reward, and often source of great satisfaction as we begin to discover how it works.
